But if there is a sustained low temperature in spring, the rape flower may not bloom until mid March

1. Longitude and latitude factor

Rape flowers are widely distributed in China. Therefore, according to different planting areas, different dimensions and sea and land positions, rape flowers are divided into two regions: Spring Rape and winter rape. Therefore, the flowering time generally lasts from the end of December to the end of April next year. Rape flowers will be seen in different places

In the south of Taiwan, you can see the blooming talented flowers at the end of December, and the flowering period will be earlier in warm winter. From January to February, rape flowers mainly bloom in Yunnan, Guangdong and Guangxi. In March and April, the region north of Sichuan Basin and Wuyi Mountain entered the flowering period

2. Vertical height factor

The altitude also has different effects on its flowering. This factor will be particularly obvious in the western region of China. The flowers in the river valley enter the flowering period every July and August. However, due to the existence of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau, the situation has changed. It should be cold in the north, but the warmth in the South has become hot in the north and cold in the south. Therefore, there is a phenomenon that the Junggar basin will bloom in June, while Tibet and Qinghai will only bloom in July and August
