This kind of plant likes warm growth conditions. Winter is a barrier for it, especially in the case of water culture. If it wants to successfully spend the winter, it needs the careful care of its owner. It has to work hard in changing water, light temperature and oxygen content.

1、 Change water

Its roots are very vigorous and breathe very strongly. Therefore, if it is watered, it should be added with water regularly, clean the green algae and green plants on the roots, and remove its necrotic roots. Generally, it should be replaced once every 2 or 3 days

If it is a severe winter, it can be replaced once every seven days. Each time you change the water, you can add a little nutritional liquid. The nutritional liquid should be dried first to volatilize the chlorine

If you pay attention to water culture, you only need to immerse half of the root in water and expose the rest in the air to help it breathe. If the dissolved oxygen content is insufficient, it is easy to rot

2、 Light temperature

It tends to warm and cool areas. Don't expose it to light. It should be placed in a good position in the process of water cultivation. It should be windy and breathable without strong light. Winter can not be lower than 14 degrees. If it is too low, it will be frostbitten. Pay attention to increase the temperature to keep it warm. The humidity of the air should be about 80%. Don't take the Anthurium outside the house, otherwise it will be frostbitten

3、 Oxygenation

This kind of flower often faces a dilemma, that is, once there is little oxygen in the water, its roots are easy to rot, so we must pay attention to its oxygen content during water cultivation. The most convenient way is to shake it. Hold the flower with one hand and gently shake the container with the other hand for about ten times. This method can increase the oxygen by about 30%. If possible, you can also add a little hydrogen peroxide to the nutrient solution, only 1% of which is needed, or add oxygen to it with a small oxygenation pump
