1、 How does alum root reproduce
1. Cutting propagation: alum root can be propagated by cutting. Cut some healthy and complete leaves with petioles from healthy mother plants and put them in a well ventilated place to dry. Then prepare some soft and breathable soil, insert the leaves into it and maintain them slowly. Soon it will take root
2. Sowing and propagation: prepare some complete, round and healthy alum root seeds without defects and sow them on the surface of soft and breathable culture soil. Then cover them with a thin layer of soil to keep them warm and wait for them to germinate
3. Branch propagation: remove the vigorous alum root from the pot, gently shake off the soil, and cut it vertically from the base of the rhizome with a knife into several sub plants, and make each sub plant have a certain amount of roots and leaves. Then, prepare some soft culture soil, plant the seeds into the soil respectively, and put them in a warm place for slow maintenance
2、 Precautions
1. Not all varieties of alum roots can be propagated by sowing. Only a few varieties of alum roots such as Purple Palace can be propagated by sowing
2. Ramets are often carried out in spring or autumn when plants burst. If the plant is not growing well and thin, it is best not to reproduce by dividing plants
