Strip pressing method

Cutting branch selection

Before cutting, the mother plant with high ornamental value can be selected, and the robust branches that have grown for more than two years can be taken. Each section is about 10-20 cm long, with or without leaves

Specific cutting skills

The base of the cuttings is cut into a flat mouth, and the leaves are retained after the upper part is cross cut. The upper and lower cuts can be soaked with clean water to wash the spilled juice, put it in a cool and ventilated place for a while, and then soak the cuttings at 2-3cm from the base with 500-1000ppm naphthylacetic acid. Generally, it can be inserted with soaking for 5 seconds

For dragon blood tree cutting, small earthenware flowerpots can be used for the seedbed, and vermiculite, perlite or plain sand sterilized at high temperature can be used as the matrix for cutting.
