Baiyinshou can choose the ways of ramet, leaf cutting and sowing to reproduce

Ramet propagation

During the growth period, remove the lateral buds growing next to the old plant of baiyinshou and plant them in the basin soil with good drainage. At the beginning of changing the basin, do not pour too much water, and keep the basin soil slightly wet

Be careful not to let the seedlings of baiyinshou just undergoing rametting directly exposed to the sun and put them in a weak light environment

Leaf cutting propagation

We can take the healthy and full-grown leaves of baiyinshou and dry them in the shade for 2 ~ 3 days. After the wound is dry, insert them into wet coarse sand or vermiculite with appropriate humidity to avoid leaf decay

After 2 ~ 3 months, the roots will grow or new buds will grow first. After waiting for them to grow into seedlings, they can be moved into new basin soil

”"Leaf insertion" does not mean to insert the whole leaf into the soil. It only needs to be placed on the dry soil to grow roots

Sowing and propagation

The best temperature for seed germination is about 20 ℃, and high humidity should be maintained in the basin. Seeds will germinate in about 20 ~ 30 days

At the beginning, the new buds of baiyinshou will grow slowly. After the seedlings are full (about 3 ~ 5 years), the pots can be changed
