Therefore, if we want to make the fragrant rattan spend the winter safely, the ambient temperature must be at least above 10 ℃, so as to create a warm growth environment for the fragrant rattan and help it grow normally in winter

Fertilizer and water management

When watering the fragrant vine, you should pour enough water, but do not accumulate water. However, you should pay attention to that in winter, which is different from watering in other seasons. When maintaining the fragrant vine in winter, you should reduce the amount of water. When you see that the basin soil is dry, you can water it again. If the basin soil is not dry, don't water it at all

In addition, when watering, you can stop watering as long as you see that the basin soil is slightly wet, and then place it in a place with light for maintenance

Liuxiangteng doesn't need fertilization in winter, because liuxiangteng needs to sleep in winter to protect the plant from freezing damage. Once fertilized, it will make the leaves and rhizomes of the plant grow, which will frostbite the newborn parts and can't survive the winter safely

Therefore, fertilization should be stopped in winter and slowly applied after the temperature rises

Light management

The growth of fragrant rattan is absolutely inseparable from light, so when it is maintained in winter, it can be placed on the balcony or windowsill with sunshine

In this way, we can ensure sufficient light. However, we should also pay attention to that if we find that the leaves of the plant soften or turn yellow in this process, we should immediately and properly shade them. We should not keep direct sunlight all the time
