Winter and spring

Summer

If watering too much at this time will lead to rotten roots

Gestational bud stage

Although there is no need to water during the pregnancy and bud period, water should be sprayed frequently to keep the stems and flower buds moist. The temperature at the flowering stage should be 10-15 ℃. During the short-term dormancy period after flowering, less watering and stop fertilization should be carried out. The residual flowers should be cut and trimmed. After new buds grow on the stem, normal water application can be carried out

Autumn

In autumn, more water should be applied to the crab claw orchid, especially the continuous supply of fertilizer and water. Liquid fertilizer or compound chemical fertilizer can be applied once a week, and phosphorus fertilizer can be applied once or twice before flowering. During this period, if you want to be conducive to the formation of flower buds and bright colors, you should provide sufficient nutrients.
