1、 Dark environment

Although the money tree has a certain negative tolerance, if it cannot get light for a long time, the new buds cannot grow. At ordinary times, the plant needs to be placed in a semi shady place to receive sufficient scattered light. Generally, from the end of spring to the Mid Autumn Festival, it needs appropriate shading, and the shading should be about 50-70%. If the light is too strong, it will also cause the leaves to be burned

2、 Temperature discomfort

Money tree likes a warm environment. When the temperature is above 35 ℃ or below 5 ℃, the plant will stop growing and cannot grow new buds. Generally, the temperature should be controlled between 20-32 ℃. If the temperature is too high, it needs to be cooled by proper water spraying. If the temperature is too low, it needs to be protected from cold and kept warm

3、 Lack of moisture

The drought tolerance of money tree is good, and the demand for water is not high, but too much water shortage will also lead to the inability of new buds to grow. The basin soil should be kept slightly moist when watering at ordinary times, and the environmental humidity should be improved at the same time. Water should be sprayed on the leaf surface regularly. However, you can't water too much, otherwise it will easily lead to root rot, which will not only affect the growth of buds, but also lead to plant death

4、 Nutrient deficiency

The growth of money tree needs sufficient nutrients. If the soil fertility is low and there is little fertilization at ordinary times, the new buds will not grow. During the growth period of the plant, urea and potassium dihydrogen phosphate should be applied 2-3 times a month, which can comprehensively supplement a variety of nutrients. After the Mid Autumn Festival, nitrogen fertilizer should be stopped and phosphorus and potassium fertilizer should be applied to help the plants survive the winter
